Vintage Kava is a herbal tea lounge located in Weaverville, NC. The lounge sits on several acres of land surrounded by trees and mountains. The patio offers customers a breath taking view to enjoy with their cup of tea. We have a community garden, ping pong table, small thrift store, and local art. Vintage Kava hosts open mic every Tuesday, live music on weekends, and yoga every Sunday morning. The menu consists of a variety of herbal teas like Kava, Kombucha, Yerba- Mate, Hemp Drinks, and more! If you cannot find a drink that fits your needs, create your own from over 30 herbs to choose from.
We both have always loved making these special drinks for all our friends and family. We moved to the Asheville area and fell in love with the area while taking notice to the popularity of herbal teas like Kava. We decided to use the recipes we have been using with our friends for years to start our own Kava Bar. Our goal has been to offer our customers the best quality drinks, for a reasonable price, while getting to look through all these one of a kind items. We really enjoy the one of a kind vibe of the store and wanted to share it with the world, along with our teas! We go the extra mile in providing a unique venue to enjoy these traditional and natural teas while still keeping in touch with nature. Every time you come to our store, something different will catch your eye!
I have lived in Raleigh, NC for the past 15 years. I was born in Florida and I have also lived in New York as a child. I moved to Asheville in January 2017 and I absolutely love it! I recently graduated from NC State with my Bachelor’s of Business concentrating in Information Technology. I have always had an interest in alternative medicine. I am so happy to be able to share these drinks with the community the right way!
